I still urgently need a solution to the problem I posted last week. Does anyone have any ideas:

" have an Excel workbook with 4 seperate sheets, each linking to a different SAS data set. I want all 4 of these to refresh when I open the workbook, but this seems only to happen for the one of them. If I click the 'refresh multiple' this works but I need it to happen as soon as the workbook is opened. Is there an option somewhere I have missed??"

Hi:
If you have an urgent question, then you might consider working with SAS Technical Support. To send a question to Tech Support, go to http://support.sas.com/ and in the left-hand navigation pane, click on the link entitled "Submit a Problem". Alternately, you can go directly to the Tech Support Problem Form here:
http://support.sas.com/ctx/supportform/createForm

Have since resolved this problem. Execution options need to be set for each table individually (not sure why there is no global option?). In data set you want to update ion opening right click and select 'Properties', then 'Execution'. You should see a check box option for 'refresh on file open'. Repeat the process for each data set.
