Hello,

In my company, mail is secured by a microsoft exchange server and encrypted with different level when sending.

We used to SAS (9.4-M4) to automatized several email sending with filename outmail methods, and the question is how to add the encryption level of microsoft exchange directly from SAS ?

Regards.

As far as I'm aware there is no option in SAS to directly trigger encryption: https://documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=lestmtsglobal&docsetTarget=n0ig2krarrz6vtn1aw9zzvtez4qo.htm&...

There is a SENSITIVITY option that could possibly be used to trigger encryption but that would have to be configured as a rule in the email server itself.

What is the default behaviour when you send an email from SAS? Is it encrypted or not?

We don't used currently the Microsoft exchange server with SAS, we use the SMTP server (so no encrypted).
