We are upgrading the pc in the office to Windows 10 and office 13

I installed EG 8.1 and add-in for office 8.1. all software is 64 bit.

When a user create a new pivots using excel then all is fine and he can refresh his data. Problem comes with opening an existing spreadsheet using the new add-in they get the error attached. All the existing spreadsheet were created Add-in 7,13

Has anyone seen this before. how do we solve it.

Not a reply, but update:
If I compare the connection that does not work to the one that doe I find that sas.LocalProvider.9.44 and sas.LocalProvider.9.46 is the only two differences. Can I edit the old connection to match the new one

Hi Louis,

Sorry for the late reply, but yes, you can edit the old connections to "sas.LocalProvider.9.46", or better yet, "sas.LocalProvider.1" to instruct it to always use the latest version of the SAS Local Data provider.

The version of your SAS Local Data Provider appears to have been updated from 9.44 to 9.46 and your old connections were explicitly looking for the 9.44 version, which no longer existed (replaced by the 9.46 version).
