Add-In cannot read data from compressed datasets

My user indicates that his Excel refresh of data will not work as long as the SAS dataset is compressed. He must uncompress the dataset in order for the Add-In to work. Does anyone know anything about this?

If your user is using Metadata methods to open the SAS file and is running into this issue, then your best bet for help is to contact SAS Tech Support and open a track.
