Hi All,

I came across "MKTEX" macro and other stuff for creating experimental designs for discrete choice experiments. Just wanted to know if any training program is available or can be provided on request from SAS / SAS instructor / any other institute on how to use this macros to understand DOE from choice designs perspective.

thanks in advance..

Regards,
Bhaskar

Hi:
The MktEx macro, as described here, http://support.sas.com/rnd/app/da/new/expdesignmacro.html says: "The MktEx macro generates factorial experimental designs. It was developed for marketing researchers and anyone else who wants to make efficient designs. This full-featured macro provides main-effects designs as well as more complicated designs including interactions and restrictions on which levels can appear together. Over one-hundred thousand orthogonal designs are available in the MktEx design catalog, as well as efficient nonorthogonal designs."

The course that would cover the use of this macro is the Design of Experiments for Direct Marketing class. You can read the detailed course description at this site: http://support.sas.com/training/us/crs/doefs.html and you can view the scheduled offerings at this site: http://www.sas.com/apps/wtraining2/coursedetails.jsp?course_code=doefs&ctry=us

Thanks Cynthia,

I went through the links and found that the courses are available in US and Canada countries. Would it be possible to offer training of this course in Mumbai, India. How much it would cost in Indian currency.

thanks,
Bhaskar

Hi:
Training classes are scheduled and offered in each country based on whether the classes are needed by their customer base. Prices for training classes will differ in each country. I do not know the price of training classes in India.

You have to contact SAS India for price or course offering information or to make a special training request. The web site for SAS India is:
http://www.sas.com/offices/asiapacific/india/training/index.htm

Their contact information is:

fax: 91-22-6749 2299
e-mail: training.india@sas.com

Looking at the course content, I don't think you're going to take away anything more than samples and free literature on sas/or.
