Solver in SAS

Does anybody has a SAS macro, that equivalent to Solver in Excel?

SAS provides a full-fledged modeling language in proc OPTMODEL. Since Excel's solver is designed for spreadsheet use, there is no equivalent macro in the SAS environment. However, modeling language are far more powerful than spreadsheet-based optimization. You can find more information about proc OPTMODEL in the documentation.

1. No doubt, SAS is more powerfull tool.
2. I could not find proc optmodel in SAS 4.2.
3. Does anybody has a SAS code that does similar things to Excel Solver

OPTMODEL was first released as part of SAS/OR in SAS 9.1.3.
