Is the option statlabel working properly?

proc sgplot data=sashelp.class;
    vbarbasic sex / response=height stat=mean;

    xaxistable height /stat=mean statlabel;
    xaxistable height /stat=sum  statlabel;

    xaxistable height /stat=mean label='Height (Mean)';
    xaxistable height /stat=sum  label='Height (Sum)';
run;

The STATLABEL option works only when an AXISTABLE is used in conjunction with a VBAR or HBAR statement.

Thanks. I wouldn't have guessed it as it is not mentioned in the online doc https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/pgmsascdc/9.4_3.5/grstatproc/p1cebnxst19wccn1s44lyk5nk2vx.htm
