I am trying to creat a vbar with sgplot and it work great. Because it is sample data I presenting, I also want to present the range the result can vary within.

There is one option in sgplot vbar, limits, but it is based on the printed data. My limits is from proc surveymeans.

Is there a way to print these bars?

In my paper called "Secrets of the SG Procedures" (http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings09/324-2009.pdf), I discuss the topic of displaying custom limits. Currently, the bar chart in the SG procedures does not allow you to specify custom limits; but there are a couple of workarounds:

1) Wide needles (discussed in the paper)
2) Use GTL to define a BarChartParm (a parameterized bar chart)

Both options require the data to be pre-summarized. Let me know if you need any details on option #2.

Thanks!

Thank You very much. This solve my problem, even if it is more like a work around than a proper solution.

I hope SAS will introduce costum limits to bar later, or even better, SGANNOTATE!

One more time Thanks.
