Hi, I am trying to create a graph using proc template and sgplot where I need 13 lines with 13 different colors. I am using the "style GraphData# from GraphData# ..." setup. I've tried to find out if there is a GraphData# limit and have not found anything yet that specifically states a limit but what I did find would indicate a maximum of 12. Is 12 actually the maximum and can anything be done to be able to have more than 12?
There is no limit. Most SAS shipped styles include 12 elements for groups, but you can define more (or less). Derive a new style using proc Template, and derive your own style and add more consecutive elements. The list of attributes is only as long as those "consecutively" defined.
If you are using SAS 9.4 (or later), you do not need a new style and you can define these lists of attributes in the STYLEATTRS statement in SGPLOT or in BEGINGRAPH in GTL.
Thank you Sanjay.
