Hi.
I have just started learning SAS eg. What a great tool!!!

right now I'm working on a work schedule issue.
As a test-case I'm trying to replicate something I used to do in excel.
So this is the case.
INPUT:
prompts:
Schedule start (01.01.2018)
Schedule end (31.01.2018)
dataset:
NAME | ROLE | FROM | TO | LOCATION | TYPE |
James | A | 01.01.2018 | 09.01.2018 | 1A | NORMAL |
James | A | 19.01.2018 | 20.01.2018 | 1B | EXTRA |
Anna | B | 10.01.2018 | 18.01.2018 | 1C | NORMAL |
Anna | B | 22.01.2018 | 30.01.2018 | 1B | NORMAL |
Peter | C | 04.01.2018 | 13.01.2018 | 1A | NORMAL |
Peter | C | 18.01.2018 | 23.01.2018 | 1C | NORMAL |
Kath | D | 15.01.2018 | 15.01.2018 | 1C | EXTRA |

Is this possible?
If so, where to start?
Thank you!

Yes it's possible. I would start with PROC REPORT and picking a destination, ie do you want PDF or XLSX file.
Highlighting/traffic lighting is very well documented across the forum here or on lexjansen.com you'll find lots of examples.
Hi. thanks for a quick reply.
I guess excel is what I need.
or PDF, the easiest way?.
