Suppress SAS generated tool tip in Proc GMAP

I am creating an html map with Proc GMAP and annotate tool tips.  The tool tips in the map work perfectly when hovering over the correct locations. However, when hovering outside the map area, the following text appears everywhere: "Choropleth Map of STATE".  How do I suppress this?  Thanks.

You can add   des=''   after the /
