Hey-hey! I am trying to generate Cleveland dot plots by using sgplot [ scatter  / xerrorlower xerrorupper group].

I would like to make the markers at the end of the error bars as small as possible. However, I could not figure out the way to do this.

I found the following in the Graph Template Language Reference: "For grouped data, [see] the LineStyle and LineThickness attributes of the GraphError style element and the ContrastColor attribute of the GraphData1 - GraphDataN style elements. (The LineStyle does not apply to the 'serif' parts of the error bars.)"

Unfortunately, the text does not say that if not via LineStyle then how to influence the 'serif' part of the error bars. Could you please help me with this?

I am using SAS 9.4 TS Level 1M3. Thanks a lot.

Perhaps you might want NOERRORCAPS to suppress the serif completely as that would be the "smallest possible".

😄 Thanks, Now, that I have looked up NOERRORCAPS I have found ERRORCAPSCALE which would have been the perfect solution, had it been available in my current version of SAS.
