Unable to see effect of axis1statement in graphs

 

axis1 color=red interval=even label="Avg Height" logbase=e minor(n=8 h=1) major=(h=1.5);

proc gchart data=Gender;
vbar height/type=mean sumvar=height mean inside=percent maxis=axis1;
run;

 

Need help.

Use the RAXIS option instead of the MAXIS option, and you should get what you want.

I got the desired result with the following codes.

 

ods listing;
proc gchart data=HTWT;
vbar gender/sumvar=Height type=mean mean inside=percent patternid=midpoint maxis=axis1 raxis=axis2;
label gender='Different poeple'
height='Average Height angle and rotate';
run;
quit;
goptions reset=all;
