I want to modify the line style and color by modifying a template.  I can get line-style to work but I can't figure out how to specify COLOR.  I either get the syntax wrong or it complies but doesn't work to change the color.

style GraphData1 from GraphData1 / linestyle = 2;

For lines and markers, use CONTRASTCOLOR instead of COLOR. COLOR is used for fills.

Thanks Dan.  Is there a way to know that?  I have the hardest time with style templates.  Maybe I just don't know where to look in the documentation.

Look under the ODS doc -> User's guide. There is an ODS style reference. Under the reference, you will see Style Elements. Under there, you will see a doc specifically for template-based graphics.

Yes. The reference I gave was in relation to the doc in a DMS session, but this support page contains the same info.
