How does SAS read shapefiles data?  

  • I have four map files:

  • Phoenix_LJ_0-1634713872848.png

How does SAS create a map from these files!!!

Use Proc Mapimport.

 

Here's an example of the code - all you have to do is tell it where the .shp file is located ...

 

proc mapimport
   datafile='C:\temp\polygon.shp'
   out=my_map;
run;
