Error running proc sgscatter

I'm trying to run a simple proc sgscatter code for generating scatter plots and getting the following error:

ERROR: The Java classloader initialization failed.

I'm running SAS on a UNIX server.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This means there is a problem with the install of the Java Virtual Machine on your system.  All of ODS Graphics needs this system for creating the graphs.  You will likely see the same message if you run a STAT procedure like REG with ODS Graphics ON.  You should contact Tech Support to find the solution.

Thanks for your quick reply Sanjay! Does this mean that the problem is with the JVM installation at the server? I hope it isn't being caused by an issue with my local machine or with the UNIX environment.
