Hello,

I have this in my code--

proc template;
define statgraph sgplot;
dynamic _ticklist_;
begingraph /;
layout overlay / yaxisopts=( type=linear linearopts=( viewmin=&min. viewmax=&max. )) xaxisopts=(discreteopts=(tickvaluelist=(&all.) tickvaluefitpolicy=rotatethin));

...........

The xaxisopts helps me with this.

I want all the values plotted but display only some of them. Like 200603 200606 etc.

How can i have that?

Specify the ticks you want listed in the

tickvaluelist=()

part. This documentation on modifying the axes is probably helpful.

Thank You for helping me here.

But I am already using tickvaluelist=()

tickvaluelist=(&all.)

Then make sure that the &all value only has the ones that you want tickmarks for.

I have found that horizontal box plots often work better for large numbers of boxes.

Why not use a date format?
