VI 10.8 Querying Data for all Child Entities

Hi all,

We can see that showing any item from some entity at screen, triggering VI to do queries in DB for all Child Entities of this Entity.

Is this a way to prevent this? e.g if we are showing any info from main entity, we don't want that VI will do queries from all Child entities of this main entity.

Is this configurable?

Hi Alex, 

When you say VI is being triggered to query the DB for all child entities is this when you are showing a page template for a given object? What is the use case you are trying to address?  Do you want to choose to not display child object information on a page template when certain conditions are met or do you want to only display some of the line items for a given child entity? Thanks.
