How to add image carousel and Visual Analytics Reports in print template of Visual Investigator 10.8

Hi,

I just found out that image control such as image carousel can be added for SAS Visual Investigator (SVI) version beyond 10.8, in this example SVI 2024.01 (in Viya 4).

However, I cannot find that capability in SVI 10.8. I tried to copy the HTML code created for image embedded in print template from SVI 2024.01 to SVI 10.8 and I observed the way the entities are coded are different. I attempted to tweak the codes but its not working in SVI 10.8. 

Is there any way to add image control such as image carousel in the print template for SVI 10.8? Is it also possible to add Visual Analytics reports to print template in SVI 10.8?

Hi Rian, 

Thanks for your question. I don't believe it is possible to include VA reports in a VI 10.8 print template. There may be a mechanism to include the images via the html template but I'm not sure of the exact steps - I recommend raising a ticket with SAS Tech Support who may be able to assist.
