How can I hide archived Reference Data values from Advanced Search?

Hi,

I have a field in SAS Visual Investigator that uses Reference Data. This occurs with both list and hierarchy reference data.

When using Advanced Search on this field, the value selection list includes both active values and values that have been archived in the Reference Data.

Is there a way to configure the Advanced Search so that archived Reference Data values are not displayed in the selection list, and only active values are available for selection?

Alternatively, is there a way to delete archived Reference Data values completely so that they are no longer available in the search?

Hi Maayan,

There is not any way to hide archived reference data values from search. The values cannot be deleted as there may be data in the system with these values, so deleting them would cause issues with data integrity.

They are available in search so that existing data can be searched for.

If this is a feature you require,  please raise a feature request. An archived value could be flagged as "Not available for search" or something along those lines.
