Hello,

I am working with SAS VI and using the conditions tab in the entity configuration to control visibility of fields on page templates. For example, I need to hide or show certain fields based on whether another field (Users and Groups type) is empty or not.

Is it possible to create a condition based on a field of type Users and Groups? Specifically, I want to check if a field is not empty (meaning a user or group has been selected) and use that condition to hide or show another field on the page.

I don’t see this field type listed among the available options when creating conditions, and I couldn’t find any explanation or known limitation in the documentation. Is this a product limitation, a bug, or is there any recommended workaround to accomplish this?

Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Maayan

Hello Maayan

Thanks for your question. It is not currently possible to define an entity / page builder condition based on a usergroup field. We are tracking this requirement in our product backlog but it is not scheduled for inclusion in a product release at this time. If you would like to receive updates on any changes to the requirement status in future please raise a request via the product suggestions page and we can provide future updates there.

Thanks

Susan
