Alert notification in SAS Visual Investigator

Is it possible to notify the users as soon as alert is generated, and that they can access the alert via the link given.

A notification (such as an email) is not sent to users to notify them when a new alert is generated, however, the user can view the Alert Summary details on the homepage to view details of the alerts in strategies that user can access. The alerts grid can be refreshed for each strategy to show the latest / highest priority alerts - users can change the sort order of the grid or filter the alerts grid to show all alerts, alerts assigned to them or unassigned alerts.
