Hi,

I have loaded a table into CAS from Oracle and built a report in SAS VA. The table is updated at regular intervals in Oracle. How do I create a job in SAS Viya that refreshes the table in CAS so that my report will reflect the most recent data?

Yes, but the documentation is not very helpful. For example, the section on scheduling jobs using SAS Environment Manager assumes that a job already exists and can be selected from the Jobs menu. I need to know how to create a job before I can schedule it.

According to this link to SAS Data Explorer, you can define data sources for CAS and also create jobs that can be scheduled:

I think you can also create SAS programs to do this. I've taken this approach with VA 7.4 but I would think it would work equally as well with Viya which we don't have yet.
