Is it possible to run Oracle stored process in SAS Viya using proc  fedsql or any other means?

similar to the below example in SAS 9.4

proc sql;

connect to oracle (user=userid password=password path=database_name);

execute (execute st_pr_name('parm')) by oracle;

disconnect from oracle;

quit;

Given the documentation, I would say, depends...:

"The FedSQL functionality for CAS is a subset of the FedSQL capabilities that are available in SAS 9.4. The following FedSQL statements are supported in CAS:

  • CREATE TABLE, with the AS query expression
  • SELECT
  • DROP TABLE"

    So it comes down to your requirement, if you need to execute this from a CAS session, or a workspace session.
