I think you can use the SAS Stored Process macro variables _METAUSER, _METAPERSON.

I don't think they will work unless you are running a SP from EG. But there are other macro variables you can use such as:
_EGUSERID
_EGUSERNAME
_CLIENTUSERID
_CLIENTUSERNAME

I'm not sure though how the _CLIENTxxxx and _EGxxxxx variables relate to each other. For me, both are set to the same values.
