Hello,

I'm looking for a paper that explains the algorithm for estimating the basic reproduction number (R0) of an infectious disease.

I searched on google scholar, science direct, etc. without finding. I am submitting my concern here hoping that someone has a book or knows the SAS procedure for calculating the reproduction number estimator.

Hoping to have feedback on the possible tracks, thank you.
Gick

Not familiar with this myself, but Reproduction numbers of infectious disease models from the US National Library of Medicine seems like it might be a good start. No SAS code, but it does include formulas...

Thank you very much.

It's already a track. I will read the article to develop the function which calculates the number of reproduction under SAS.

Sincerely,

Gick
