I have a Oracle table which has been added to one Imformation Map. If I add a column into the Oracle table, does SAS has sdk or API to refresh the schema and add the field into presentation layer so that user can use the new field without IT effort?
No, but if your infomaps are created used SAS code, that is, with PROC INFOMAPS, then of course you can dynamically build the code to create the Infomap. So the code will read the dictionary table looking for changes in the data and then add these new columns to the PROC INFOMAPS statement. I believe you can use the APPEND statment to add new columns to the Infomap.
