I have my profile set on the subscriptions and notifications page not to send me emails for any of the options, including not having the box checked to send emails about accepted solutions accept a weekly digest of badges (which I may turn off as well).
This morning I have received two emails about accepted solutions. I checked my profile, the setting is still not to email me for accepted solutions. The second message was after I checked the first time the first time to verify that my settings were as expected.
Hey @ballardw -- next time that happens can you forward the message as an attachment to communities@sas.com? We can look at the notification template and perhaps reverse-engineer what triggered it.

I've opened a ticket for our communities platform vendor -- we'll see if we can figure it out. It looks like you've set the proper choices in your preferences.
