Hey there!
I'm not sure if this is the appropriate board, but I assume an admin can/will move if it's better posted elsewhere.
I'm a PhD student nearing prelims (yay)...I know enough (I think/hope/pray) to pass what my professors will want for my prelims, but I'm tired of not knowing SAS as well as I could. I am not a statistician by any means, but I intend to pursue research as a primary focus for my career, so I need to be rather fluent in stats coding. I can do some basic things in SAS, but know that what I can do could be smoother and could come more fluently. What class(es) should I consider taking to broaden my familiarity with this coding language?
Thanks in advance,
Kate

Hi @ksmielitz, SAS users who frequent the Certification Community (for users pursuing various forms of SAS certification) and Analytics U Community (where folks learning SAS hang out) might have some useful tips too. Consider posting those places too. Best of luck with your prelims!
Thanks, Beverly!! Sounds like Analytics U might be the place for me to start!

Post if you need anything!
Hi Beverly, saw your responds and please I need direction on how to get the free software to learn the SAS. I have my first degree in maths/statistics. I would like to put it into practice by knowing practically how to apply the SAS so I can secure a good job as an SAS analyst
As @Reeza mentioned, the links I posted earlier in this thread will get you started. Post a new question in the Analytics U Community if you need further help or advice: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Analytics-U/bd-p/sas_analytics_u Glad to see you're on the road to learning SAS!
The links Beverly posted are still relevant. Scroll down the page and follow the instructions and read them 🙂
It requires a few set up steps.
