If you are a coder, write programs. See the issues asked here, and try to create your own solutions. If others provide solutions that are not obvious to you, play around with them. Read the documentation on items you do not yet understand.

The same is true for all SAS products. Knowledge is gained through using them, making mistakes, and learning from those.
