Hi Community folks!
One of our most popular pages on the community site is the Latest Message Activity list, which provides an all-inclusive view of all topics and articles that have been posted or replied to recently. As our community site has seen an increase in "non-discussion" content (Hackathon use cases, How to articles, SAS Innovate session recaps, etc.), some frequent users asked for a way to filter that activity list to "only forums" -- so they can focus on the active discussions where they might learn and contribute.
So, I've added an "OF mode" (Only Forums, for Only Fans of SAS discussions). Simply check the Forums only box on the top of the page:
Please enjoy! No additional subscription required for this OF experience.
This is not working in Firefox 143.04 on Windows 11. I click the check box and the web page doesn't change, it still shows the "non-discussion" topics.
Hi @PaigeMiller - sorry to hear it's not working for you! I don't want to give that cliche developer response, but it actually does work for me under that version of Firefox, also Windows 11. Do the other filters work? (Unread, No replies)
I see the problem. I have a security plug-in for Firefox called NoScript, it works when I set this to its lowest security level, but not when I set it to the highest security level.
Yes! That would do it. This page and its filters use a commonly used component called datatables. Simple JavaScript is needed to provide the interactivity. Nothing exotic here, but disabling scripts would definitely limit your experience.
Yes, I'm all set now. I enabled scripts for sas.com and it works. Thanks!
It's finally time to hack! Remember to visit the SAS Hacker's Hub regularly for news and updates.
