Hi:

I'm completely new to SAS.  I downloaded SAS University Edition today and tried out some tutorial.  I would like to know: 1. Is SAS University Edition enough to learn from? or 2. Should I purchase a SAS software package to install onto my laptop?

Thanks,

E.

UE is enough to learn from. Individual SAS licenses run into the 10k+ range so unless you've got cash to burn...

The first e-course is free and there's a book specifically for SAS UE.

Thank you, Reeza.  That was really helpful, especially the "cash to burn" part.  Shows you how much I know about SAS.  Again, thanks.

And it is an annual license. Though with license comes upgrades and pretty good tech support.
