Hi Team,
I have been wondering whether or not an EDITed/Updated & re-posted message in a particular thread sends out a 'new' email notification to the OP so that they can track/compare with the content of what it was earlier in a previous email making out what the EDIT is all about?
Of course, the wise and sincere thing to do is when make an edit, comment out and add a note stating what's been edited, however not proud that I am lazy and the tendency to move on the next question with the current excitement deemed over, I am hopeful that the above is covered for the sake of OPs. Am i right??
Thank you & Regards!

It seems it is up to the member who replies to notify the OP and others of an edit. They have the option in this area. I did not click it when I edited my message:
My answer.
Now edited.
See if you got two mails.
Added another edit.
Thank you @Kurt_Bremser. I like your style i.e best is to test. Hmm I am afraid i just got one.
Made another edit. And what would Maxim 4 be good for if I did not follow it?
Thank you yet again. But the result is 😞 just 2 email notifications
Maxim 5 would be the way to go as Chris, Shelley et team help is needed on this thread. Just didn't want to plug them as I didn;t wanna bother too fast
Which means you either have to activate the mail notification, or post a new reply to trigger notifications.
Hi @novinosrin,
Want to be sure I understand...you want to receive a notification every time someone posts and edits their message?
As an OP, you will be notified of every reply (sounds like that is already happening).
Are you getting a notification of any follow up edits?
(edited to include):
Thanks,
Shelley

Perfect!. Well jeez! I wonder how i missed that. Super!, that answers and solves it. Great! and thank you!
Hi Shelley,
Thanks for pointing this out. How can I activate this feature? It doesn't seem to be available when I edit my posts:
Hi @FreelanceReinh,
Sorry for the delay. I was out of the office on Friday. I did some digging and it seems that this functionality is only available to admins and Super Users. I tested it on Thursday, but only with Super User profiles, which is why it looked like it worked. Given this information, I say wait a couple of weeks and you'll have this ability.
In the meantime, I'll see if there is a way to turn it on for everyone. Thanks for the question!
Best,
Shelley
Hi Shelley,
Thanks for investigating. It's not important to me to have this feature. I was just surprised to see it because I wasn't aware it existed.
