Hi ,
I am geeting below error while meatadata sever config
ERROR: sas - The account cannot be authenticated .
OS : Linux 6.7
We alredy have sas user at os level and I have login to sas user via sudo for sas installation..
Contact SAS Technical Support. A configuration file that controls how SAS authenticates users against the OS needs to be modified, but I could only help you for AIX, not Linux.
Hi,
It seems you need to set the authentication for linux accounts by setting some parameters in the sasauth.conf file located at SASFoundation/9.x/utilities/bin/sasauth.conf.
methods=pam

Thanks,

That's what I meant, but I only know about the AIX-related parameters.
You could follow this link https://communities.sas.com/t5/Administration-and-Deployment/SAS-9-4-M5-Metadata-configuration-Error...
