hi 

i have problem when i use run a code from sas studio

"insert into table values ('محمد')"

and i go to database oracle to check it i see it ????

however when i run the same statement from sqlplus it appear correctly at DB.

does any one have any idea?

You likely need to make sure that your SAS server/configuration and the Oracle DB  is set up for unicode support.

Hi,

 

as recommended, what you will need is support for UNICODE from the SAS configuration.

 

You can do this by adding it, by updating your binaries, and you can also do it manually by changing some files called sasv9.conf or sasv9_usermods.conf.
