Windows 10 Install error

I am trying to install  SAS 9.4M4 64bit on a Windows 10 professional 64 bit machine.

 

The deployment immediately fails with error.

You are using operating system Windows 7 64 bit.  The minimum requirement is Windows 7 64 bit SP1.

 

But this makes no sense because the PC is on windows 10 pro 64 bit.  So I am unable to get the install past the first few seconds.

Hi @performanz

 

Is your Windows 10 machine running in Windows 7 compatibility mode? If it is this could cause an issue.
