One of my colleagues, who runs SAS 9.4 TS Level 1M6 on X64_10PRO platform, found suddenly a file called SASMBC in his SASUSER library.

Does anyone know what this file is used for and why it appears in SASUSER? (A file with the same name is also found in the SASHELP library.)

SASMBC dataset is created by SAS when certain functionally (IMPORT/EXPORT procedure) is used by a few SAS Applications.
And it is created in the SASUSER library at the first time those products or procedures are used.
