WE have SAS 9.4 TS1M0 GRid CLuster on Red HAt LInux 6.4.  Is there a way to validate the health of the SAS servers/services on a daily basis?   IS there a script/code/job that can run daily for 4 - 6 hours that will check if there are problems with any of the SAS internal servers and send an alert to ADministrators?

A source of mine writes:

There is nothing that goes out and runs SAS code on each and every machine in the grid. They could write one and have it scheduled through Schedule Manager though. The difficult part is making sure you run one instance on each machine rather than one per job slot.

Environment Manager is available with SAS 9.4 for monitoring the health and performance of SAS servers. Have you considered that as an option?
