Upgrade PC SAS 9.4 TS1M3 to PC SAS 9.4 TS1M5

I'm wondering how can I go about and Upgrade PC SAS 9.4 TS1M3 to PC SAS 9.4 TS1M5.  Is it recommended tre-install the software from scratch or can we do an upgrade in place?

I would recommend upgrade in-place so you don't lose any configuration changes.

If you launch the SAS Deployment Wizard from the newer depot it will detect the already installed software and will only allow you to upgrade the software thats there. For a simple desktop deployment this update is very simple to run through.

 

Take a backup of a system and try it.
