Hi,

We have a screnario where we are not to view a SAS SPDS library in SAS EG when it is pre assigned from SAS Management Console(SMC). And the same is visible if we remove the pre assigned status from SMC.

If it was a access permisision issue either from Metadata or from OS , then it should not be visible even when it is unassigned. This looks tricky . Is there a way to track this issue and understand what is causing this. Appreciate your support!!

Try this trick, It worked for me:

  • Remove the pre-assigned status from the library
  • Go to EG and manually assign that library once
  • Once library assigned, Go to SMC and pre-assign the library
  • Now try again to see it by connecting again in EG.

Hi,

check the Metadata Server log and SPDS log. This might give more info.

You do not use an autoexec for SPD Serv libraries, correct?

Thanks

Anja
