Unable to See LDAP Users in SAS Viya 3.5 Environment Manager

Hi Everyone,

We are encountering an issue in our SAS Viya 3.5 Environment Manager where LDAP users are not visible. Upon checking the identity service logs, we noticed the following error:

2024-12-09 11:22:48.521 ERROR 21376 --- [1-auto-1-exec-2] com.sas.commons.rest.ExceptionLog : sasboot(c9fea001-173a-43b2-b3ab-98c112785396) caused by: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: TrustAnchor with subject "CN=*****, OU=ITDS, O=***, L=***, ST=****, C=**" is not a CA certificate

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Any insights or guidance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the issuing certificate(s) for the certificate being returned by your ldap server are not in Viya's trust store. Documentation on adding certificates to the trust store for Viya can be found here:
