Hi, I'm trying to copy SAS dataset indexes to a different library with session encoding. I was able to copy the datasets to utf-8 encoding to a different library but could not copy SAS dataset indexes.

I tried proc contents with out2 option but it shows that no indexes associated with the dataset.

Can you please provide a different option to copy these sas dataset index files to a different library with utf-8 encoding?

I have tried proc datasets with copy and index option but it did not work. Request your support on this thank you

As much as I know, when you transform an indexed data set you need to recreate the indexes.

It seems that transforming to a different encoding has the same rule.
