Hi All,

We updated a SAS platform from 9.4M4 to 9.4M7 license include SAS Visual Analytics that was upgraded from 7.4 to 7.5.

Everything was ok during the update process and services were started without any error, but when i validated on SAS VA Administrator (trying to start Server LASR), i got the following error,  It looks like we update the software (SAS VA 7.5) but some config is still in last version (M4).

Did anyone get this issue before?.

Thanks & Regards,

@SAS_LuisBolivar  - Your evidence suggests that the Foundation SAS used by SAS VA did not get updated from 9.4M4 as expected. Do you by any chance have a separate SAS VA App server that did not get fully updated? This would be easy to check by remotely logging into your SAS VA App server and checking the dates of directories installed under <SASHome>.

Hi.

The SAS environment is composed of:

1. SAS VA not distributed

3. Application servers.

The process is started by the undistributed Visual Analytics server.

Thank you.

@SAS_LuisBolivar  - Check the <SASHome> folder on your one physical server for the folder SASFoundation - has it been updated?

Hi,
Good morning.

If the SASFoundation directory located within SASHome was updated.

Thank you.

Hello everyone.

My problem was solved by applying the following:

  1. Identify the release date of the initial release.
  2. Run the following command (find /sas/SASHome -exec touch -t 20170405 {} \;) to upgrade the date of all files in the SASHOME directory.
  3. Run the wizard again to perform the maintenance update.

Finally the entire upgrade process was carried out.

Thank you.
