There’s so much going on this month, with SAS Global Forum starting up in just a few weeks. I wanted to make sure you saw these items. They all relate to the conference, though you only have to be an attendee to make use of the first one!

• Meet and mingle with other SAS admins and with SAS employees at SAS Global Forum. There is sure to be lots learning during this networking session.
• Did you miss the recent SUGA webinar, SAS Grid Manager Revamp: What Admins Should Know? Watch it on-demand and see the slides at your convenience.
• There’s finally a book for SAS admins: SAS Administration from the Ground Up: Running the SAS 9 Platform in a Metadata Server Environment. Check it out!

These would be my three things for March too!!!

In talking to administrators at the SAS Nordic Forums in March, I was reminded of and shared:

• @DavidStern's CheckList of SAS Viya Administration Tasks and
• @GerryNelson's article on Creating SAS Viya authorizations from SAS 9.4 Metadata (which also contains a great resources list at the end)

These would be helpful for those admins working in parallel or transitioning to SAS Viya.

I'm VERY excited to catch up with SAS admins at SASGF in April. Perhaps we could share our three things in person at the Meet & Mingle!
