Syncsort in SAS

Here is the message from the SAS log. This is the first time SyncSort is tested in this installation.

ERROR: Could not load /opt/sasv93/SASFoundation/9.3/sasexe/sassysor (98 images loaded)

ERROR: 0509-022 Cannot load module /opt/sasv93/SASFoundation/9.3/sasexe/sassysor. 0509-150 Dependent module

/opt/tools/syncsort/lib/libsyncsort.a(libsyncsort.o) could not be loaded. 0509-152 Member libsyncsort.o is not found in

archive 0509-022 Cannot load module /opt/sasv93/SASFoundation/9.3/sasexe/sassysor. 0509-150 Dependent module

/opt/sasv93/SASFoundation/9.3/sasexe/sassysor could not be loaded.

This is run from a Unix environment.   The sassysor and libsyncsort.a files exists in the appropriate directories with read access.

Has anyone encountered this before  ?

Confirm that the host sort routines are correctly set up. See chapter 17:
