Environment : zOS - V2R4

SAS level : SAS 9.4(TS1M2)

 

I was trying to install Hot Fixes. Run Deployment Manager using 'SASDM.REXX -z64' and received Exit Code 255. Please see below log and advise. Thank you

Hello @pyy1 ,

 

please check first the logs as mentioned here: https://support.sas.com/kb/43/606.html

 

If you can rollback and repeat operation, perhaps you can run the setup with -loglevel 2. it will run slower but it will give you tons of additional information.


The last but not the latest, it seems that the error might point to an error on bitness (32 bit vs 64 bit), permissions or something similar. There is a chance you might need to contact SAS Technical Support for it.

It is confirmed that the JAVA version used was not compatible. 

Used version 7, 31 bit -- successful installed the fixes.
