Hello Experts,

Can you please help me with insights on integrating SAS 9.4 environment with Microsoft Azure DevOps Tools.

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/devops/

If there is something specific to SAS IFRS17 that would be great.

Regards,

Ankit.

What type of SAS 9.4 code are you looking to integrate with Microsoft Azure DevOps Tools?

It looks like ascii files with SAS code in them can be used with these tools, but I am not sure if this is what you are looking to do.

Cheers,

Margaret

vague question creates vague answer:

yes, you can integrate your SAS 9.4 environment with Azure DevOps.

Azure DevOps is a platform with many options and services. You should be more concrete what you want to achieve. You could integrate SAS with DevOps in these scenarios:

  • using Git-Repositories
  • CI & DI Pipelines
  • running unittests

There may also be other use cases for integration points.

Hello @ankitd ,

in addition to what was mentioned by @AndreasMenrath :

SAS/ACCESS to SQL Server

supports the following:

- Amazon RDS Microsoft SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later)
- Microsoft Azure SQL Database

Azure DevOps work with underlying REST APIs, you could make use of those rest apis from anywhere, including SAS.

Hello,

The basic requirement is to setup the Azure Devops pipeline which will be integrated with SAS Model Manager for machine learninig. It should create the data models and deploy into the containers with the application code. Basically Mchine learning process has to be automated through azure devops.

Need you suggestions on what all possible way's to acheive the same.

Tools Used:

1. SAS Model Manager

SAS Model Exploration – Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning

2.  Python Libraries

3.  Azure DevOps

4.  SAS Jupyter Lab

Regards

Niraj
