SAS server with oracle interface

Hi ,

 

I have got a error to connect oracle data base .

ERROR: ORACLE connection error: ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor.

ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement

I am very new to SAS administration .So any one guide me how to resolve this error.

I need some knowledge how oracle database and SAS is connected .

Please see the chapter "SAS/ACCESS Interface to Oracle" in the document below. Make sure you have set all of the environment variables:
