Dear please advice,

After I renew the SAS license successfully. I did the below steps:

  • Stop all SAS service
  • Run SAS renewal as admin and selected the SID_file. Then the message box the license applied successfully appeared.
  • Run SDW and select apply SID_file in metadata.
  • Follow all steps until wizard finished successfully.
  • Started all SAS services on compute tire.
  • Run proc setinit; and see the new license was applied.
  • Started SAS service on web tire, but the SASServer1_ 1 started and stopped.

The log file for SASServer1_1 was attached.

also I notes the belw error on event viewer.

Hi @SASuser19,

have you applied your license to the metadata server as well?

I guess you have SAS 9.4, which Maintenance?

You can check if your liense was applied in your Metadata Server pluing on the SMC.

look slike some problem with server.xml file,

Did you check the catalina.log and server.log files for any error messages?.

And is this the firsttime you are starting the server??. or is it a resart?.

Hello,

next time you will restart the SASServer1_1, try to delete/archive first the SASServer1_1\logs, \work and \temp folders content (you will clean what is chached). Then restart again.

If you do this, are you finding still the same problems?
