Hi All,

I am new into SAS Viya and just installed Viya environment on windows. I just want 4-5 users for my internal purpose to create and view reports, and this environment is to explore and not for client. Is there any way I can create users with full rights for my environment without using LDAP or any auth provider to avoid complexity? I have users created on my windows server already.

If it is not possible, can anyone provide step by step guide to establish OpenLDAP to work around.

Thanks in advance.

@parth_ ,

LDAP is required for SAS Viya visual interfaces. It is not required in a programming-only deployment. If you have no access to your AD/LDAP, you can use Apache DS: http://directory.apache.org/apacheds/.
